As members of the Berry family, we know there is something special about coming home. No matter where life has taken us, returning to this beautiful place brings us back to who we are, where we began, and the community that shaped us. Berry has always been a home that welcomes us back, ready for shared memories, familiar faces, and new moments together. And this year's Silver and Blue Alumni Weekend was a joyful reminder of just how strong those connections remain.
The weekend began Friday evening with reunion celebrations full of laughter, storytelling, and long-awaited embraces. Alumni gathered with classmates to pick up conversations as if no time had passed, while also having the opportunity to meet Berry's new president, Dr. Sandeep Mazumder. His presence set a meaningful tone for the weekend, bridging Berry's deep traditions with its exciting future.
Saturday brought a full day of connection and reflection across campus. Alumni revisited the places that helped shape their Berry experience, returning to what many fondly call the "shrine of many a memory." From scenic walks to spontaneous reunions on the lawns, the campus once again became a shared space of belonging.
A highlight of the weekend was the Silver and Blue Dinner, where alumni gathered to celebrate their enduring ties to Berry and honor a beloved member of the community, retired choral director Ross Magoulas. His influence has touched generations of students, and the evening was a heartfelt tribute to his legacy. At the close of the celebration, Dr. Magoulas led the alma mater, a powerful and unifying moment that brought the room together in song.
We were also proud to celebrate milestone reunions for the classes of 1961 and 1966, marking their 65th and 60th anniversaries. Their presence added a rich sense of history to the weekend and reminded us all of the lifelong bonds formed at Berry.

In addition, Berry High School and Academy alumni returned to campus for their annual breakfast, reconnecting and sharing stories across generations.

The weekend concluded Sunday morning with one of Berry's most cherished traditions, chapel. Alumni gathered once more in a spirit of reflection and gratitude before stepping outside to enjoy a final moment together on campus, lingering just a little longer before heading back out into the world.

Silver and Blue Alumni Weekend is more than a series of events. It is a homecoming in the truest sense. It is a celebration of friendships that endure, a place where memories are revisited and new ones are made, and a reminder that no matter how far we go, Berry is always home.
