A Berry Evening in the Queen Citye
A mild Carolina evening set the stage at Providence Country Club, where Berry spirit filled the room long before the first introductions began.
Alumni, families and friends of the college gathered in Charlotte for a special Meet & Greet with Berry College President Dr. Sandeep Mazumder during his first year at Berry. The reception offered attendees a meaningful opportunity to meet Dr. Mazumder, hear about his early experiences as president and learn more about his vision for Berry in the years ahead. Conversations flowed easily over hors d'oeuvres and an open bar, creating a welcoming space for connection among members of the Berry community across the Charlotte region.
Co-hosted with Jim Van Meerten (70C), the gathering reflected the strength and enthusiasm of Berry's alumni network and the shared commitment to supporting the college's mission. Beth Earnst (93C) guided the Q&A session with Dr. Mazumder as he shared in the excitement surrounding the college's future.
