For generations, the Daughters of Berry have played an important role in preserving the traditions, history and spirit that make Berry College unique. Now is the perfect time to join or renew your membership for the 2026-27 year and become part of a community dedicated to honoring Berry's past while investing in its future.
Founded in 1939 by Martha Berry, the Daughters of Berry is an organization of alumnae and friends who share a commitment to preserving Berry College's heritage. Through fellowship, service and meaningful connections, members carry forward Martha Berry's legacy and support the Berry community.
Each year, the group gathers for a variety of events and service opportunities from September through May. Activities include cherished traditions such as the Christmas social, the Founder's Legacy Dinner and the Spring Picnic, along with volunteer projects that often support Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum.
Membership is open to:
- Berry alumnae, including graduates and non-graduates of Berry College, Berry master's programs, Berry Academy and the Martha Berry School for Girls
- Wives of Berry alumni from the institutions listed above and Berry High School
- Female Berry faculty and staff
- Wives of Berry faculty and staff
- Current female Berry juniors and seniors

The group's first meeting of the year will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the Oak Hill Garden Room, located in the cottage behind the Martha Berry Museum.
