A Warm Berry Welcome
Snow dusted the streets of Washington, D.C., but inside Patterson Mansion, the atmosphere was unmistakably Berry warm.
Alumni and friends of the College gathered for an evening reception to welcome Berry College President Dr. Sandeep Mazumder during his first year at Berry. Despite chilly weather outside, the room buzzed with conversation, laughter and shared pride in the Berry community.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to connect with Dr. Mazumder, hear more about his early months at Berry, and reflect on the enduring traditions that continue to unite Vikings across generations and geography. The evening was co-hosted with Seth Turner (06C) and offered a meaningful space for connection among Berry supporters in the D.C. area.
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to be part of this special gathering. Moments like these remind us that no matter the distance or the season, the Berry community carries its own warmth.
