Each spring, Berry College transforms into a hub of hard work, laughter and purpose during Alumni Work Week — and 2025 was no exception. From seasoned alumni who first stepped onto campus decades ago to recent graduates bringing fresh energy, this year's crews were a powerful reminder of what happens when Viking spirit and heartfelt dedication meet tradition.
With more than a dozen specialized crews working across campus, the week was filled with meaningful service, joyful reunions and tangible results. Alumni of all ages rolled up their sleeves, creating lasting memories while making a visible impact on the place they still call home.

THE CREWS THAT MAKES IT HAPPEN
Archives Crew - Memorial Library
This team dove deep into Berry's digital history, cataloging and tagging important archival materials that will inform and inspire generations to come.

Activities & Auction - Ford Dining Hall
Not only did this crew help raise critical funds for future Work Weeks with their annual silent auction, but they also planned engaging evening events to build community and keep spirits high.

Meal Services Crew - Ford Dining Hall
What fuels great work? Great food. This behind-the-scenes team ensured every meal was ready to nourish the hard workers of Work Week.

Oak Hill Collections - Martha Berry Museum
Cataloging artifacts and organizing Berry treasures, this group played a crucial role in preserving the stories and items that have shaped the college's legacy.

Quilting Crew - Alumni Center
This cozy corner of Work Week saw the creation of beautiful quilts that stitched together both fabric and friendships, one square at a time.

Sewing & Weaving - Hoge Building
Keeping traditions alive, this crew wove and sewed pieces that honor Berry's historic dedication to handiwork and heritage.

House o' Dreams Grounds - Mountain Campus
Alumni worked to enhance the picnic area near this iconic mountaintop home, ensuring that future visitors will enjoy even more beauty and comfort on their treks to the summit.

Oak Hill Grounds
This team focused their efforts on restoring the Martha Berry walking trail, breathing new life into one of the college's most serene paths.

Fuqua Crew - Oak Hill
Restoring the front porch of Aunt Martha's cabin, this group worked with both muscle and care to honor one of Berry's most beloved historical structures.

Victory Lake
This crew cleaned up the lake area, making it even more inviting for recreation, reflection and connection.

Bench Crew
Beauty and function came together as these volunteers repaired and refreshed benches across campus — perfect for a quiet moment of rest or conversation.

Campus-wide heroes. This cheerful crew delivered daily snacks and smiles to every worksite, helping each team stay energized and appreciated.

Whether you wielded a rake, a sewing needle, a paintbrush or simply brought a good sense of humor, your contribution mattered. Alumni Work Week 2025 showed that when Vikings unite, Berry blossoms — again and again.
