Silver & Blue Alumni Weekend 2025: A Celebration of Friendship, Legacy and the Place We Call Home

Each spring, Berry alumni make their way back to the place that shaped them — bringing with them stories, memories and a deep sense of connection. Silver & Blue Alumni Weekend is a time-honored tradition, and 2025 was no exception. From class reunions to choir performances and special recognitions, it was a weekend to remember.

The weekend kicked off Friday night with milestone reunions for the classes of 1960 and 1965, including many cherished friends from the Berry High School and Academy. Laughter echoed through the halls as classmates reconnected, flipping through yearbooks and swapping stories that have only gotten better with time.

Saturday and Sunday were filled with activities designed for all alumni to enjoy — offering opportunities to explore campus, attend special programs and relive cherished Berry traditions. One of the weekend's most moving highlights was the reunion of former choir members, who gathered under the direction of Ross Magoulas to lift their voices once again in harmony and shared history.

During the Alumni Association's annual meeting, several individuals were honored for their outstanding contributions to Berry and the alumni community:

  • Pat Jackson received the Virginia R. Webb Exceptional Service Award, recognizing her extraordinary dedication and impact as a member of the Alumni Council.

  • Jennifer Dickey received the Ouida Word Dickey Heritage Award for her devotion and support of the Alumni Association and promoting the preservation of Berry's history.

  • Angela Dickey was named to lifetime Alumni Council membership for her continued leadership and commitment.

  • Debbie Heida, a beloved figure in the Berry community, was named an honorary alumna, celebrating her legacy of service and care.

Whether you came to celebrate a class reunion, reconnect with choir friends or simply enjoy a walk around the Ford buildings, Silver & Blue Alumni Weekend 2025 was a heartwarming reminder of what it means to be part of the Berry family.

We hope you'll make plans to join us next year — because no matter how far we roam, Berry is where we come home.
