Josh Etress
(09C) embodies Berry's motto, "Not to be Ministered Unto, but to
Minister," through his professional accomplishments and dedication to
service. As chief operating officer of Anchor Investments, he is guiding the
team in their mission to build America's Most Generous Real Estate company. He
oversees Mission Hotels, a brand that contributes the majority of its profits
to aid those experiencing homelessness. Under Josh's leadership, the company is
on track to provide one million meals, beds, and showers to the underserved by
2028, along with $1 million in donations to more than 100 charity partners.
Josh's commitment to service extends to active participation in numerous
community organizations, including People Loving Nashville, ShowerUp Nashville
and The Aspire Movement. His dedication to faith-based initiatives has led him
to launch movements that bring people together in prayer across multiple cities
in the United States.
His exceptional leadership has earned him several accolades, including the 2023
Rent Magazine "Best Real Estate
Investment Expert" award and recognition in the Nashville Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" in
2023. Previously, he was named a "Rising Star of Technology" by Birmingham Business Journal in 2020.
Josh is passionate about mentoring and developing others, regularly coaching
young professionals to help them achieve their goals and live intentionally.

Despite his professional success, Josh prioritizes his role as a husband and
father of four. He strives to raise his children to be "on mission, on

careers and personal lives.
